This enables the data to be used, for example, in home automation, energy consumption monitoring, or electric vehicle charging control.<\/p>\n<p>To use the data, <strong>the meter\u2019s HAN port<\/strong> must be activated and a compatible HAN interface, together with the manufacturer\u2019s application, must be connected to it.<\/p>\n<h3>What does the HAN interface transmit?<\/h3>\n<p>The meter transmits metering data <strong>at 10-second intervals<\/strong>. Raw data is transmitted, and the scope and format of its display depend <strong>on the device and software you use with the HAN interface<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The meter outputs the following data:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>instantaneous consumption (W),<\/li>\n<li>phase voltages (V),<\/li>\n<li>currents (A),<\/li>\n<li>cumulative energy consumption (meter reading).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The registers output by the meter are listed <a href=\"https:\/\/imatraelekter.ee\/media\/Arvesti-valjastatavad-registrid-ENG.pdf\"><strong>in the attached document<\/strong>.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/imatraelekter.ee\/media\/han-port.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-35255 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/imatraelekter.ee\/media\/han-port.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"895\" height=\"494\" srcset=\"https:\/\/imatraelekter.ee\/media\/han-port.png 895w, https:\/\/imatraelekter.ee\/media\/han-port-300x166.png 300w, https:\/\/imatraelekter.ee\/media\/han-port-768x424.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 895px) 100vw, 895px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>HAN interface of the Landis+Gyr E360 meter with an RJ-12 connector.<\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3>How is the data used?<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>A device from your chosen service provider is connected to the HAN interface.<\/li>\n<li>The device transmits the metering data via your data network (Wi-Fi or Ethernet) to the application associated with the device.<\/li>\n<li>You can decide how to use the data obtained from the meter.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Important to know before choosing a device<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>A metal cabinet, stone walls, and distance limit Wi-Fi coverage, which may make it necessary to use additional solutions to improve your data network coverage.<\/li>\n<li>There is a wide range of HAN interface devices available on the market.
